Since IVF and other fertility technologies often involve taking medications and close monitoring beforehand, do international clinics that offer these procedures have any relationship with local providers and/or use remote monitoring capabilities (e.g. ultrasound)?
Hospitals out of US do have a relationship with local providers. The KK Women's and Children's Hospital (www.kkh.com.sg) in Singapore has a foreign patient programme where KKH works with local doctors to try to minimise the duration of stay in Singapore.
The blood test results and ultrasound picture (where patients have obtained locally) can be faxed or emailed to KKH to enable remote monitoring of the progress.
