Sports Medicine

Are there any countries or medical clinics that are particularly advanced in the area of sports medicine?  Specifically, I am looking for practices that are looking into the areas of cartilage regeneration.  This process is rare and expensive here, though I am wondering if there is more accessibility abroad.

 Any info would be helpful.
