Question re incentives for travel facilitators

How do I know if my travel agent will look out for my interest? Do I have any say in the doctor that I get?

What "Say" Does the Patient Have In Choice of Doctors?

This is a proper question and deserves to be heard. The short answer is that the patient has all the choices when he/she has chosen America's Medical Solutions. We may offer several choices before we disclose the patient's name and these choices include the doctor's credentials, the hospital's rating, and the price of the care.

How good are the data?

It's so hard even (or especially?) in the US to figure out which doctor is the best for a specific situation. Even when someone makes a recommendation it's really hard to know if that was the right choice.

It seems overseas the problems would be compounded. On the other hand, maybe international providers are more open to the idea of providing objective, comparable data in addition to more qualitative information.

Any thoughts on whether travel facilitators can help with that?
