New Hospital in Malta

You may want to include MALTA as a destination for medical tourism.
The new hospital 'Mater Dei Hospital is a well built and furnished
hospital. The physicians and surgeons who work there have extensive
training, (most of them in British hospitals). You may want to visit
Malta and see for yourself. The hospital is government owned and managed.
Is Malta a good choice for US patients?
I had understood that some patients go to Malta from the UK. I'm wondering what the feasibility is for a US patient. What are the air connections like? How are prices compared with other medical tourism destinations? I'm assuming most everyone can speak English. Is that a fair assumption?
