Our firm works with many providers in Thailand as well as the university teaching hospitals there. There are many excellent choices in addition to the one mentioned. While all Thai physicians licensed by the Thai medical council are well trained, (some more than their western counterparts), there are also many hospitals that are not presently ready to meet the expectations of foreign travelers, as far as the English signage, English language fluency, and cultural amenities. I am personally faimilar with over 15 hospitals there, and have received treatment or diagnostic services in two as a patient.
While JCI accreditation is sought by several there, and presently besotwed on many, there are other accreditation systems, namely Hospital Accreditation of Thailand, and JACO the Japanese system seen frequently in Thailand. JCI is accredited by ISQua, the organization that accredits the accreditors, of which JCI is only one. The difference being that JCI has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on marketing their brand.
Of the hospitals that are ready to meet the expectations of foreign travelers seeking medical care on an elective basis, each hospital has a few service lines for which they excel. If you could post, without getting too involved in personal and confidential personal health information, many of us who are knowledgeable on the list might be able to guide you with more relevancy.
