Who has a relative or a friend recently been diagnosed with diabetes? More and more people are becoming diabetic without knowing it because diabetes is a silent disease. By the time the person feels sick or notices that his wounds are not healing well, it is already a sign or a symptom of the complications of the disease. A doctor most probably will say to him that the only thing that can be done is dietary modification, exercise and medications to control the level of his blood sugar for the rest of his life.
